View Funeral WebcastJeremy Michael Thompson, 39, employee of Cracker Barrel and resident of Dawson Drive, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Godwin officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Connie Oliver Thompson Terry of Columbia and the late Joe Michael Thompson. Always eager to obtain knowledge, he enjoyed science, reading, and writing stories. He also enjoyed working in the garden. He was a member of First Assembly of God. In addition to his mother, he is survived by the mother of his child, Karie Thacker Thompson of Columbia; daughter, Cheyenne Autumn Thompson of Columbia; stepfather, Steve Terry of Columbia; sister, Amy Thompson Blair of Columbia; brother, Jamie Thompson of Chapel Hill; and nieces and nephews, Michael Keith Blair, James Hunter Blair, Alayna Thompson, Jay Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson, Cameron Thompson, Emily Webb, Aden David, and Aiden Moffo. Pallbearers will include Jamie Thompson, Sr., Harold Richardson, Jr., Michael Keith Blair, Chad Bierschbach, Darran Cates, and Dustin Eells.
