View Video TributeView Funeral WebcastJerry Wayne Gibson, 66, master barber and resident of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Monty Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late English Gibson and Clara Johnson Gibson. Mr. Gibson was associated with Gibson Brothers Barber Shop for forty years and was currently employed at Pizazz. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Thomason Gibson of Bell Buckle; son, Jerry Matthew Gibson of Lewisburg; daughter, Pamela Gibson of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Ray Gibson of Spring Hill; grandsons, Wesley Ray Moore and Trinity Aaron Gibson; niece, Kathy Orton (James) Phelps; several nephews; and stepson, Justin Mack McKennon. He was preceded in death by son, Gregory Wayne Gibson; daughter, Jerrie Beth Gibson; brothers, Edward Gibson and Alvin Gibson; and two sisters, Ruby Holt and Betty Orton. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
