Jewell Dean McIntyre Givens

View Funeral Webcast Jewell Dean McIntyre Givens, 67, longtime resident of Nashville, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Regional Hospital of Jackson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Chaplain Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. A native of Montgomery, Alabama she was the daughter of the late George McIntyre and Mable Ann Wright McIntyre. On August 23, 1965 she married John Givens who preceded her in death May 10, 1991. Mrs. Givens was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Ramona (Lester) Creamer of Madison, Delores Beal of Texas, Debbie Lee Givens of Nashville; two grandchildren Michael (Jessica) Creamer and Kelly (Christopher) Boyd; sister, Joyce Howell of Texas; and two brothers Billy McIntyre of Henderson and Jimmy McIntyre of Nashville. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby LaComb. Pallbearers will be Michael Creamer, Christopher Boyd, Lester Creamer, and Carlton Pitts.
