Jimmie L. "Ace" Aslinger

Mr. Jimmie L. “Ace” Aslinger, 85, resident of Columbia, passed into our Lord & Savior’s loving arms on Friday, March 19, 2021. No services are scheduled at this time. Mr. Aslinger is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruby Williams Aslinger, parents Hiram and Lottie Morgan Aslinger, son Joel Aslinger, sister Barbara Holloway, and two brothers in law, Carroll Holloway and Ritchie Woody. He is survived by his sister, Carol Woody and brothers Clifford (Wanda) Aslinger and Danny (Joyce) Aslinger, five children, multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Aslinger was an active member of the Riverview Baptist Church and a retiree from Union Carbide after thirty plus years. Together with his wife Ruby, they became celebrated foster parents to over 100+ kids providing love, care, and a stable home.
