Jimmy Leroy McGee

Jimmy Leroy McGee, 62, self-employed landscaper and resident of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Williamson Medical Center. A memorial service will be scheduled later with Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born September 29, 1951 in Rogers, Arkansas, he was the son of Lyndal and Margaret Staats McGee of Gravette, Arkansas. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his love of eighteen years, Jodie Olive of Lewisburg; children, Chris McGee of Lake City, Florida; Erin Matthews of Lewisburg, Sam McGee of Sterling, Virginia, Jessica Harrington of Nashville, Sean McGee of Columbia, Geoffrey McGee and Ramsay McGee, both of Franklin; grandchildren, Aurora Matthews, Bastian Matthews, Caiden McGee, Calla Matthews; brothers, Randy (Darla) McGee of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Larry (Sandy) McGee of Gravette, Arkansas; sister, Linda (Rob) Nehrbas of Scottsdale, Arizona; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by one child, Jesse McGee and one sister, Tammy McGee.
