View Funeral Webcast John Herman Gilliam, 67, resident of Howard Bridge Road, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols with Dwayne Brown and Richard Vancleave officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of the late Herman Almon Gilliam and Pearl Johnson Gilliam. He owned and operated Gilliam's Appliance Repair. Mr. Gilliam was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, John Elvis (Brandy) Gilliam of Culleoka, Chad Almon Gilliam of Columbia; three daughters, Rita (Jerry) Brunson of Culleoka, Melody Gilliam and Lanette Gilliam both of Columbia; one brother, Steve Dennis Gilliam of Columbia; one sister, Jewell Wentzel of Cornersville; six grandchildren, Desiree Estes, Ashleigh Gilliam, Tristan Bergman, Amber Gilliam, Thoran Gilliam, Mercedes Estes; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Terry Brooks, David Turco, Shane Moody, Michael Gilliam, Jerry Brunson and John Bone.
