John Thomas "Bud" Haskin

John Thomas “Bud” Haskin, 94, resident of Culleoka, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026 at his home in Culleoka.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Scribner’s Mill Cemetery with Randy Sprouse officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born April 7, 1932 in Culleoka, TN, Bud was the son of the late John Haskin and the late Annie Pearl Roberts Haskin. On June 22, 1956 he married the love of his life, Christine Young, who preceded him in death on March 23, 2026. Bud was a lifelong farmer and retired Oldsmobile mechanic for Barr Motor Company. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Bud is survived by his sons, Dennis (Diane) Haskin of Culleoka, and Phillip Haskin of Lewisburg; grandson, Caleb Haskin of Lewisburg; sisters, Mamie Osborn, and Ann Owens; brother, Joe (Shelia) Haskin; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, and wife of nearly 70 years, Christine Young Haskin, bud was proceeded in death by 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
