Johnny Rayburn Brown, Sr., 75, self-employed contractor and owner of Central Home Improvement, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at the home of his daughter in Lilburn, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 12:00 noon at Oakes & Nichols. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of the late Weldon Brown, Sr. and Edna Parrish Brown. He was a member of North Lake Church of Christ in Georgia. An avid classic car enthusiast, he greatly enjoyed restoring cars and loved music. Survivors include four daughters, Tanya (Edward) Loper of Plant City, Florida, Terri "Sissy" Brown of Murfreesboro, Jodi Moon of Jefferson, Georgia, and Courtney (Chris) Cunningham of Lilburn, Georgia; two sons, Johnny Rayburn Brown, Jr. of Murfreesboro and Jonathan Brown of Lilburn, Georgia; two sisters, Mae (Jim Wright) Burnette of Nashville and Betty (John) Burns of Dickson; a brother, Weldon Brown, Jr. of Nashville; grandchildren, Dominique Loper, Brandi Brown, Chase Moon, Sarah Moon, and Eddie Loper; great-grandchildren, Korey Coffey and Tiana Brown. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Dixon and Juanita Dillehay and a brother, Claude Brown. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
