Born August 14, 1982, in Columbia, TN, Jon was the son of Vanessa Diane Shouse Hildenbrandt and the late Alan Dale Hildenbrandt. He served as controller at First Farmers & Merchants Bank, where he was respected for his dedication and professionalism. Jon found great joy in traveling with his family. He cherished time spent at the cabin with his mom and niece, building LEGO creations with his nephew, and affectionately pushing his mama's buttons every chance he got. He quietly devoted time to Habitat for Humanity and was always willing to help those in need, never seeking recognition for his kindness or generosity. A member of First Baptist Church of Columbia, Jon lived a life marked by humility, wittiness, and love of his family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Keri (Shawn) Jackson; niece, Harmoni Jackson; nephew, Harrison Jackson; grandmother, Jane Hildenbrandt; uncles and aunts, Tommy Shouse, Michael (Lavenia) Shouse, Mary Gunn, Donna (Mike) York, and Terry (Beverly) Hildenbrandt; along with several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Janet Shouse; and his paternal grandparents, Don and Judy Hildenbrandt.
Active pallbearers will be Dwayne Carter, Derek Shouse, Dakota Shouse, Joshua Shouse, Jacob Shouse, and Mike York.
Honorary pallbearers will include his co-workers at First Farmers & Merchants Bank.
