View Video Tribute Jonathan Karl Simonds, 70, resident of Campbellsville Pike, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his residence. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Vann officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to service time at the church. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. He earned his Master's degree from Columbia University in organic chemistry. Mr. Simonds was president of IPTech, a global computer software/development company. He enjoyed reading, classical music and most of all loved Mozart. He is survived by his wife whom he married in 1975, Olivia Reyes Favela Simonds of Columbia; daughter, Elizabeth Maria Simonds of Columbia; and brother, Charles Simonds of New York.
