The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Dave Brown and Minnie Lou Cole Brown. On September 30, 1944 she married M. D. Cammuse who preceded her in death on December 13, 2004. She enjoyed camping, fishing and was an excellent cook. Mrs. Cammuse was a member of Browns Chapel Church of Christ. She had a strong faith in God and was thankful to her sisters in Christ who frequently sent cards wishing her a pleasant day and assuring her the Lord is always near. She was very appreciative of visits and shared prayer time with her pastor Franklin Williams and his wife Jean. James Cammuse and his daughter Teresa Beard were caregivers in the best sense of the word, running errands, making sure all her needs were met and spending quality time with her. She is survived by her special loved ones, James Cammuse, Teresa & Gary Beard, several nieces and nephews, the husband of her daughter, Rick Collins; and the wife of her son, Shelia Cammuse. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Collins; son, Jerry Cammuse; three brothers, Lewis Brown, James Brown, and Willis Brown; and seven sisters, Irene Robertson, Effie Coleman, Lois Warren, Bessie Wright, Susie Culberson, Prim Johnson, and Bell Brown. Active pallbearers will be Gary Beard, James Cammuse, Edward Harmon, Willis Brown, Dave Brown, Danny Ray Brown, and Dennis Wright.
