Letha Joyce Ingle Holland (Meemee), 72, resident of West 7th St. and former resident of Summertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. In lieu of formal visitation or service Joyce's wish is that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, VU Station B #357727, Nashville, TN 37235. The Memphis native was the daughter of the late Dale Ingle and Letha Poole Ingle. She was an avid sports enthusiast who loved the Atlanta Braves, Tennessee Titans and was a fan of Nascar and driver Sterling Marlin. She loved flower gardening and reading. Joyce was a member of the Baptist faith. She had a beautiful spirit and was loved by so many. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Johnny Holland of Summertown; daughters, Donna Holland (Richard) Matthews of Columbia, Annie Holland Lockamy (fiance' Brandon Jones) of Seagrove Beach, Florida, Trisha Holland of Franklin; brother, Leslie (Maureen) Ingle of Collinwood; grandson, Holland Matthews of Columbia; granddaughters, Michelle Lockamy (Hery Purwanto) of Columbia, Jenny Lockamy Dugger of Kansas City, Kansas; great grandchildren, Emma Kate, Mady, Riley, Austin, Cade; nieces, Sherry Ingle Farris, Beth Holland Scott; nephews Darryl Ingle, Rick Holland; and several great nieces and great nephews including Elise Matthews and Carmen Tanner. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Ingle, son-in-law, Larry Lockamy, and in-laws W. B. Holland and wife Maudie.
