Helen Juanita Daniels Polk, 77, resident of Powell, Tennessee, died Monday, January 28, 2013 at Tennova Residential Hospice in Knoxville. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Claude Daniels and Gracie Clifton Daniels and a member of Bell's Campground Baptist Church in the Powell Community. She is survived by her husband, R. H. Polk, whom she married March 5, 1955; sisters, Margaret Petty, Peggy Hill, and Wilma Oliver, all of Columbia; brothers, Charles Daniels and Perry Daniels of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Claude Daniels, Jr. and Jimmy Daniels. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
