View Video Tribute View Funeral WebcastMrs. Judy Love Thompson, 63, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her residence on Turpin Circle. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ronnie Thomas, J.O. Martin and Donald Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lawrence Grove Baptist Church, c/o Ronnie Thomas, 110 Cross Valley Dr., Columbia, TN 38401. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Oscar Love and Katherine Estelle Harris Love. She was a homemaker and member of Lawrence Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of forty-two years, Robert Hubert Thompson of Columbia; daughter, Dana (Bill) Gibson of Columbia; son, Jeffrey (Deborah) Thompson of Columbia; sisters, Norma (Doug) Rogers and Janice (Ronnie) Thomas both of Columbia; brothers, Ralph Love of Thompson Station and Timothy (Jane) Love of Columbia; grandson, Robert Jonah Gibson; and step-grandchildren, Jason (Farrah) Dickey, Bert Hutcherson, Cody (Brittany) Gibson and Haley (Derrick) Carroll. She was preceded in death by sisters, Martha Harris, Freda Bowen, Barbara Love, Edith Love and brothers, Cordell Love, G.W. Love, Lonnie Love, Leroy Love and Eddie Love. Pallbearers will be Richard Harper, Gerald Branton, Charles Raines, Thomas Fitzgerald, Clephus Ratliff, Jerry Hambree, Greg Upchurch and Tom Warwick. Honorary pallbearers include Rita Fitts, Dr. Ruth Lamar and members of Lawrence Grove Baptist Church.
