Katherine Knox Liles, 64, resident of Union Place, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wendell Robinson and Mike Kesler officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was a 1968 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She was a member of Graymere Church of Christ. Survivors include her parents, George E. Knox, Sr. and Ruth Kinnard Knox of Columbia; brothers, George E. "Eddie" (Jennifer C.) Knox, Jr. of Murfreesboro; Robert K. Knox of Columbia; nephew, Kerry E. (Maria) Knox of Murfreesboro; great nephew, Grady E. Knox of Murfreesboro; and great niece, Virginia Marie Knox of Murfreesboro.
