Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we also are rejoicing as we know Kay is without any pain and will suffer no more. The family will visit with friends Saturday after 5:00 P.M. and Sunday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of Mary Lorraine Gifford Paul of Columbia and the late Marion Hamlin Paul. Kay was a loving wife, devoted mama, the best mawmaw, and exceptional cook, busy homemaker, caring spirit; and most importantly, Kay was a child of God whose soul was anchored in the Lord. She was a charter member of Harvest Baptist Church. Pleasant sweet memories will forever linger in the hearts of her family until we meet again in Glory. Kay was married to Roy Brady; and they spent almost forty-three great years together building their happy life and loving home. Kay lovingly doted on their three children, Krista (Michael) Reischman, Tammy (Bryan) Sterchi, and Jon (Becky) Brady. Kay was a precious mawmaw to her eight grandchildren; Abagael, Colin, Annah, Addyson, Ella, Brady, Ian and Tucker. Kay's memory is cherished by her loving mama, Lorraine Paul; six siblings, Larry Paul, Ron (Jane) Paul, Joel (Felecia) Paul, Michael (Lisa) Paul, and Ginger Adams; six in-laws, James Brady, Clyde (Sharon) Brady, Margaret Brady, Nelson (Jennifer) Brady, Larry (Judy) Brady, and Michael (Marcia) Brady; aunt, Audrey (Carl) Nielson; three uncles, Donald (Carolyn) Paul, Gerald (Joyce) Paul, and Bob McVicker; a host of precious nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends who will mourn Kay's passing yet celebrate her beautiful life. Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Paul, Nathan Paul, David Paul, Brian Adams, Daniel Paul, Tim Brady, Jake Brady, and Clayton Brady. Honorary pallbearers will include Colin Pounders, Ian Brady, Tucker Sterchi, along with Paul and Brady nephews, and members of Harvest Baptist Church. The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to her entire medical team, church, family and friends for their amazing care and kindness.
