Kelly Lyn Page of the Bear Creek Community passed away suddenly on June 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Texas to a military family and as such had lived in Thailand, the Canal Zone, Europe, Japan and numerous locations in the continental United States. Her great love was raising horses. She had been a championship rider during her four years in the Canal Zone, having won many trophies and blue ribbons. Kelly was a caregiver and was very serious about her work. She had an outgoing personality and had made many friends in her ten years living in Maury County. She is survived by two sons, Shane who teaches overseas and is currently teaching in Kazakhstan and Mark, who along with his spouse, Erin and their sons, Eli and Lukas live in Norfolk, Virginia. Kelly is also survived by her father, William Page, a native of Maury County, and a brother, Reagan who also resides in Columbia. The family along with close friends honored Kelly with a short memorial at her residence on Bear Creek Pike. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
