Kristie Lea Harper Runions, 52, equipment operator for HMC Recycling and resident of Hampshire, died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The family suggests memorials in honor of Mrs. Runions to Holly Skelton, 1539 Azalee Lane, Chapel Hill, TN 37034. Born May 10, 1971, in Williamson County, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Harper and Janie Watkins (Manuel) Pina. Mrs. Runions enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and going to the river. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, James Keith Runions; daughter, Holly (John) Skelton; sons, Andy Runions, Coty (Taittumn) Runions; grandchildren, Talan Johnson, Lexi Skelton, Remi Runions, Wesson Runions, Iver Runions; sisters, Kelly (Jeff) Davis, Sherry (Esco) Perry, Debbie (Terry) Brown, Cisco Pina; Yorkies, Hank, Harley; and several nieces and nephews.
