MRS. LUTHER M. THOMAS Mrs. Lacy Sutton Thomas, 89, retired legal secretary for Mr. W. Allen Richardson and a resident of the Bigbyville Community for a number of years, died Saturday, August 31, 2002 at Life Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Tony Brown officiating. Burial will be in the McCains Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Joe Sutton and Florence Hickman Sutton. She was first married to J. D. Duncan, who died in 1947. She later married Bascom Brown, who died in 1958 and Luther M. Thomas, who died in 1996. Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Betty) Fisher of Old Hickory; three step-grandsons and several nieces and nephews including Betty LeMay of Columbia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers
