Larry "Bo" Beasley

William Larry "Bo" Beasley, 63, retired employee of Sharp Motor Company in Pulaski, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at his residence on McCall Street in Lynnville. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Milton Stephens and Leon Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. A lifelong resident of Giles County, he was the son of the late William Lester "Cotton" Beasley and Raydean Cross Beasley. A graduate of Jones High School in Lynnville, he attended Mississippi State University and graduated from Vocational Technical School. He was a former two-year player for the Detroit Lions Football. Survivors include his wife whom he married October 12, 2002, Susan Boyd Beasley of Lynnville; son, Daniel (Leanne) Beasley of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Hannah Beasley and Jett Beasley; stepchildren, Matthew (Liz) Sayers of Franklin and Beth Sayers of Nashville. Active pallbearers will be Preston Murray, Donnie Hanna, Freddy Capps, J. D. Page, Barry Hyatt, Col. Garry Littleton, Buck Pierce, James Erwin, and Bud Beasley. Honorary pallbearers will include Harold Berzett, Bill Murray, Robert White, John Murray, and Ed Murray.
