Laura Jane Pope Parrish, 53, homemaker and resident of Waynesboro, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers offciating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Nettie Jane Prince Carpenter. Laura was an avid Dierks Bentley fan and attended the Methodist Church.Survivors include her husband, whom she married August 5, 1994, Jeffrey Scott "Scotty" Parrish of Waynesboro; brothers, Billy Pope and Anthony Pope both of Columbia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edsil and Judy Turnbo of Waynesboro; sister-in-law, Susan Lynn of Waynesboro; nephews, Justin Pope, Anthony Pope, Jr., Daniel Plunkett; and niece, Crystal Kittrell.
