View Video Tribute Mrs. LaVonda Faye Price, 66, a resident of Buffalo Road in Hohenwald, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Price will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie English officiating. Burial will follow in the Diana Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences can be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born June 25, 1954, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Savage and the late Margaret Elizabeth Griffis Savage. On December 19, 1992 she married Harold Douglas Price who preceded her death on October 7, 2020. She was a homemaker and former Veterinary Tech. Mrs. Price loved traveling, sewing and animals. She volunteered for The Food Bank in Lewis County. She was a member of the Flatwoods Baptist Church in Linden. Survivors include her sons, Patrick Wayne (Melisha) Tomlinson of Columbia, Christopher Paul (Tonia) Tomlinson of Hohenwald, John Daniel (Tanya) Tomlinson of Columbia, Jeffrey Keith (Seanda) Tomlinson of Homestead, Florida; step-daughters, Kim (Mike) Daugherty of Embarrass, Minnesota, Connie Price of Pensacola, Florida and Courtney Price (Kevin) of Pensacola, Florida; sisters, Katie Lee Fowler, Betty Mae Wales, Connie Marie Morris all of Columbia; brothers, Roger Dale Savage of Summertown and Johnny Wade Savage of Michigan; grandchildren, Ricky, Janie (Justin), Nicole, Stephanie (Caleb), Brittany, Halle, Rylan, Paige, Eric, Trent, Sean and Jacob; step-grandchildren, Joshua, Amanda (Luke) Jeremy (Serah), Jonathan, Ashley, Chloe, Morgan, William, Madalyn, Blaine (Angela), Brianna; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Lonnie Glenn Price; brothers, Joe Wayne Savage and James Allen Savage. Pallbearers will be Ricky Tomlinson, Eric Cody, Trent O’Brien, Sean Wix, Jacob Newell, and Blaine Price. The family suggests memorials be made to Lewis County Food Bank or Flatwoods Baptist Church.
