Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born on October 1, 1942 in Columbia, he was the son of the late John Lee Bozeman and the late Kathleen Hendrix Bozeman. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather. Lee Roy worked for Mountain Drive Coal company for many years running their dragline. LeeRoy’s work ethic and vast knowledge to figure out how things worked began at an early age. He had to quit school at an early age to support his brothers and mother but later went back and received his GED. He was the smartest and hardest working man with the highest level of natural talents to repair, build, or figure out anything. Handyman or jack of all trades do not even begin to capture the intelligence of this man. Although, he was a man of few words that didn’t speak more than he had to … he didn’t say less than he needed to. His wisdom, honestly and genuine humble nature was what made him so unique and loved by all. Being a dependable hardworking father was of utmost importance to LeeRoy and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to whole heartedly loving his family. LeeRoy is survived by his wife, Deb Daniels Bozeman; sons, Tim (Kim) Bozeman and Clayton (Sherry) Bozeman; grandchildren, Tyler Bozeman, Adam Bozeman, Brittnee Bozeman and Brianna Bozeman; step-son, Chris (Cheyenne); step-daughters, Ann (Ryan) and Beth (Travis); step-grandchildren, Harmony, Landon, Makenna, Blakelynn, and Trey; brothers, James (Carolyn) Floyd and David (Lisa) Bozeman; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife and mother of his children, Martha Ray Bozeman. Pallbearers will be Tyler Bozeman, Adam Bozeman, Doug Barnard, Steve Miracle, Mickey Cobb, and Eric Potts.
