View Funeral Webcast Lennie Tice Haskin, 94, former long-time resident of Mooresville Pike, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Signature Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late John A. Tice and Nannie Pearl Pinkleton Tice. She was married March 24, 1943 to Homer Lee Haskin. Their 63-year marriage ended with his death June 10, 2006. Mrs. Haskin was a retired inspector for Dixie Manufacturing Company and a former employee of Maury Regional Medical Center Coffee Shop. She was a long-time, faithful member of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Pauline Jones Tice of Culleoka and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven sisters, Mamie Davis, Evelyn Hickman, Myrtle Davis, Rena Brown, Eunice Thurman, Geneva Cherry, and Ina Allen; and five brothers, Raymond Tice, Earl Tice, Sherman Tice, Thurman Tice, and Huey Tice. Active pallbearers are Charles Davis, Chip Davis, Athel Hickman, Bill Tice, Randell Dooley, Bud Haskin, and Ray Cherry. Elders and Deacons of Highland Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.
