View Funeral Webcast Charles Leonard Williams, Jr., 41, carpenter and resident of Seavy Hight Road, died Monday, January 18, 2010 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols with Bryan Basham officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of Charles Leonard Williams, Sr. of Columbia and the late Peggy Smithson Williams. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Williams was a member of Scribners Mill Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to his father include his wife, Dianne Thrasher Williams of Columbia; daughter, Cori Beth Williams of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Sherry (Mark) Dawson and Nancy (Jonathan) Cothran both of Santa Fe and Angela (Jonathan) Delk of Columbia; grandfather, Aubry Smithson of Culleoka; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lane and Peggy Thrasher; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Daryl and Tabby Thrasher; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Colton Wyatt Williams. Active pallbearers are Mark Dawson, Jonathan Delk, Daryl Thrasher, Scott Phillips, Jake Craig, Gary Smith, George Stofel, Lane Thrasher, Dakota Dawson and Jonathan Cothran. Honorary pallbearers include all his friends.
