Lewis Carl Daniel, Jr.

Lewis Carl Daniel, Jr., 67, former employee of Modine and Kay Windsor Manufacturing Companies, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his residence in Columbia. Born October 14, 1953, he was the son of the late Lewis Carl Daniel, Sr. and the late Cleda Teat Daniel. Mr. Daniel loved working with horses and kayaking, which led to him working at Higher Pursuits. An avid helper, he loved to assist people in recovery programs and worked several years at The Place of Hope in Columbia. Survivors include his daughters, Erin (Shandon) Griggs of Franklin; Ashley Daniel of Lawrenceburg; and grandchildren, Anna Claire Clifton of Lawrenceburg; Ethan Griggs, Tali Griggs, Lennox Griggs all of Franklin; and Scarlett Belew of Lawrenceburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Christen Daniel; and brother, Mike Daniel.
