View Funeral WebcastMs. Lisa Michelle Dwyer Thurman, 50, resident of Zion Road, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Points officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of California she was the daughter of James Patrick Dwyer, Jr. of Ashland City and Joanne Kay Thorn Tidwell of Columbia. She had worked at Runway Market in Mt. Pleasant and most recently was employed by Lasko in Franklin. Lisa loved flowers and cooking and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors in addition to her parents include her companion, Larry Hann of Columbia; children, Josh (Amber) Tidwell and Tiffany (Rodney) Himes both of Centerville, Brandon Beard of Culleoka, Chad Beard of Hawaii; sisters, Becky Hall of White Bluff, Christy Bowman of Columbia; brother, James "Jim" (Pam) Dwyer of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Bailey Blocker, Rhena Himes, "Jr." Himes, Hayden Tidwell, Colby Tidwell; and extended family, Travis Hann, Teresa Hann, Jennah Hann Knight, Lewis Hann, Lewis and Ella Jane Hann, Brian Hann, Josh Hann and Jacob Hann. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
