Lois Nall Davis

Margaret Lois Bullion Nall Davis, 90, retired nurse and longtime resident of Tinsley Lane, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Life Care Center of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with David Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Waterloo in Lauderdale County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Bullion and Josephine LaRue Bullion. She was first married to Will Nall, Tech 5 U S Army, who died July 4, 1945 while serving our country during World War II. On February 9, 1956 she married Thomas Harold Davis who survives. Mrs. Davis was employed several years with Dr. Edward Ewton and Dr. James Kelley. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, and knitting. She was a Gold Star wife, a State Gold Star Award Recipient, and a member of the Gold Stars of Herbert Griffin American Legion for over fifty years. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, LTC Ronnie W. Nall, Retired and his wife, Elizabeth Anne Nall of Murfreesboro; sister, Charlene (Jim) Collins of Indianapolis, Indiana; granddaughter, Bethany Lynn Nall Parks and her children, Zachary Parks and Ethan Parks, all of Castle Rock, Colorado; grandson, LTC William Christopher Nall, his wife Donna, and their children, Jacob Nall and Rebecca Nall, all of Eagle River, Alaska; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip Bullion and Billy Joe Bullion; and one sister, Edith Gilliam. Active pallbearers will be Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. Honorary pallbearers will be LTC William Christopher Nall, Butch Prosser, Michael Prosser, Jack Parks, Willard Davis, Miko Dooley, Gold Star Members and American Legion Auxiliary of Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19.
