View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Annie Laura "Lollie" Anderson Osborne, 88, long-time resident of Campbellsville Pike, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Graymere Church of Christ with John Vaughan, Wendell Robinson, and Andrew Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols and one hour prior to services at the church. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. A life-long resident of Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Ross Alexander Anderson and Margaret McKay Anderson and 1943 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She was a member of Graymere Church of Christ and active in church affairs as a member of the Riddle-Williams Sunday School Class and the Ladies Bible Class. She served as a volunteer seamstress for the Tennessee Children's Home and the Meals on Wheels program. Mrs. Osborne served as a Girl Scout Leader, was a member of the Annie White Circle of The King's Daughters, Maury Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, Maury County Chapter, APTA, and had been honored as a Rotary Club Paul Harris Fellow. She was an accomplished needlepointer and for many years enjoyed gardening and playing golf. A loving mother and doting grandmother, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ouida and Steve Hill of Columbia and son, Ross Osborne of Columbia; grandchildren, Anderson (Meredith) Hill, John (Megan) Hill, Laura Hill, William Osborne, and Rachael Osborne; great-grandchildren, Henry Hill, Lucy Hill, Mary Dudley Hill, and Annie Hill; nieces, Pam Anderson Hamburg and Suzanne Lewter; and sister-in-law, Fannie Dee Ellis of Nashville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dabney Anderson; brothers, William Terrell Anderson and Cam McKay Anderson; and a nephew, Bill Anderson. The family wishes to express special appreciation to many friends for their prayers, visits, cards, and other acts of kindness and support; and to the Maury Regional Medical Center Nursing Staff, Dr. Dan Skarzynski, Dr. Anuradha Mann, Oncology Group, and devoted caregivers for their care and concern during her illness. Active pallbearers are Anderson Hill, John Hill, William Osborne, Ross Osborne, Steve Hill, Tony Sowell, Mike Greene, Robert McKay, III, Dr. Dwayne Fulks, and Kevin Markham. Honorary pallbearers include the Riddle & Williams Sunday School Class at Graymere Church of Christ, Thursday Lunch Group, Lenora and Andy Hunter, Faye and Ray Locke, Margaret Wilburn, Virginia Lamb, Sue Byrd, Olivyn and Harold Hardison, Sammie and R. D. Ledford, Elizabeth Warren, Gayle and Don Swenson, Betty Sparkman, Betty and Jim Carrigan, Twilla and George Brazleton, Judy and Dr. Tom Duncan, Polly Renfro, Laura Cathey, and Claudel Parrott.
