Louella Dillehay Miller

View Funeral WebcastMrs. Louella Dillehay Miller, 88, homemaker and resident of Rosewood Drive, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Carl W. Dillehay and Bonnie Rieves Dillehay. On July 1, 1966 she married W. M. Miller, Sr. who preceded her in death September 17, 1991. She was a former longtime resident of Texas and moved back to Tennessee in the late 1960's. She was affectionately known as "Ludie" by her family and enjoyed reading. Mrs. Miller was of Methodist faith. Survivors include her step daughter, Peggy (Brian) Rusterholtz of Lucas, Texas; step-son, W.M. (Trish) Miller, Jr. of Katy, Texas; sisters, Elizabeth Hargrove and Edith Haney, both of Columbia, and Peggy (Bill) Brent of Culleoka; brother, Laddye (Judy) Dillehay of Eunice, Louisiana; aunt and uncle, Sarah and Cecil Duncan of Columbia; five step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Clint Dillehay and Oscar Dillehay. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers.
