View Funeral WebcastView Video Tribute Ann Louise Johnson Aldridge, 88, retired owner/operator of Lola's Beauty Shop, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at her residence on Aster Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Lindstrom officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born September 6, 1926 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Johnson and Mamie Gladys Ladd Johnson. On February 5, 1972 she married Everett Aldridge who preceded her in death on January 25, 2007. Prior to opening her beauty shop, Mrs. Aldridge owned and operated Alley-Oop Restaurant in Columbia for several years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Grace Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy (Charlie) Hardaway of Columbia; grandchildren, Wendy (Brad) Fisher and Kelly (Judy) Hardaway, both of Columbia; great grandchildren, Jessica (Shane) Oliver and Riley (Jocelyn) Fisher, both of Columbia; Elizabeth Hardaway of Shelbyville; Kyle Douglas of Martin; Amy (Mark) Sanchez of Murfreesboro; great great grandchildren, Skyler Oliver, Sophia Oliver, Marilyn Sanchez, Isabella Sanchez, Autry Burt; brother, Carl Johnson of Columbia; niece, Lora Carol (Jeff) Richards of Columbia; and nephew, Dean (Gaye) Johnson of Columbia. Active pallbearers will be Kelly Hardaway, Brad Fisher, Riley Fisher, Kyle Douglas, Shane Oliver, and Mark Sanchez. The family would like to express a heart felt thank you to Dr. John O. Simmons and staff, Maury Regional Medical Center Nurses and Home Health, and NHC Hillview Staff for their amazing care and kindness.
