View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Louise White Andrews, 93, former long-time resident of Columbia Gardens, died Friday, August 17, 2012 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Buddy Roberts and Dr. John Cheatham officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Born and reared in the Park Station Community in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Lee White and Mary Davis White White and a graduate of Culleoka High School. October 25, 1942, she married William Ralph Andrews of the Culleoka Community. Their 60 year marriage ended with his death February 13, 2002. During her childhood, she was a member of Philadelphia Church of Christ and for many years has been a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Andrews was chief clerk in the Maury County Register of Deeds office from 1954 during the tenure of Mr. Raymond Brown. Following his death, she was appointed to fill the remainder of his term. She was elected Register of Deeds for two terms, serving until her retirement in 1990. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lyn and Alan Freeman of Marblehead, Massachusetts; granddaughters and spouses, Stefanie and Joe Conahan of Arlington, Virginia and Alyssa and Garrett Bailey of Greenland, New Hampshire; a niece and spouse, Charlie Ann and Henry Dugger of Columbia; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas White. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
