Louise Parson Beason

Louise Parson Beason, 88, retired private sitter and former resident of Columbia, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at Jefferson Health Care in Jefferson, Louisiana where she had made her home for the past several years. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols with Deacon Price Keller officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday after 12:00 noon at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to St. Catherine Catholic Church, 3019 Cayce Lane, Columbia, 38401. Born June 15, 1923 in Fulton, Kentucky to the late Charlie Parson and Evie McDaniel Parson, Mrs. Beason was reared at the Tennessee Children's Home in Spring Hill. She was married to Lynn Washington Beason who preceded her in death. She was a communicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Ann (Raymond W. Sr.) Sheehan of Jefferson, Louisiana; two sons, Bernard Brown and Richard Allen "Ricky" Brown, both of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Sandra Bradley Brown of Columbia; nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Charles W. "Charlie" Brown, Paul Marion Brown, and Barry Brown. Family will serve as pallbearers.
