View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Mrs. Emma Louise Finley Wright, 99, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at NHC Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Mark Proctor officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late John Finley and Will Williams Finley. Mrs. Wright was a long-time member of Highland Park Baptist Church and her love of her church, family, and music highlighted her life. She was a life-long homemaker and for a number of years was a private sitter for the elderly. She married Andy Wright on July 4, 1935. Their marriage ended with his death October 23, 1984. Survivors include her daughters, Flossie Wright of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Betty (Ray) Holden of Columbia, and Margie (Dale) Huckaby of Columbia; grandchildren, Cheri (Steve) Young of Chapel Hill, Judy Musgrave of Lewisburg, Lucy (David) Patterson of Columbia, Dennis (Suzanne) Holden of Columbia, Dr. Cameron (Brenda) Grove of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Brent Grove of Wisconsin; great-grandchildren, T. J. Young, Andy Young, Frank Musgrave, Davis Musgrave, Brown Holden, Sophia Holden, Lauren Patterson Boyd, Coben Holden, MacKenna Grove, and Rylee Grove; great-great-grandchild, Atlanta Boyd; several nieces and nephews; and cousin, B. S. Orr of Murfreesboro. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elaine Chapman; grandson, Kenneth Huckaby; siblings, Florence Thomas, Mable Maupin, Jule Finley, and Howard Finley. Active pallbearers are Dennis Holden, T. J. Young, Andy Young, Frank Musgrave, Brown Holden, David Patterson, Davis Musgrave, Brent Grove, and Dr. Cam Grove. Honorary pallbearers include Sylvia and Bill Clifton, Hazel and Sam Beddingfield, Georgia McCaleb, Diane and David Biederman, Stephanie and David Hancock, Ethan Hancock, Wayne B. Hardison, Clara and James Maupin, and Barbara and Richard Key.
