View Video Tributes Lillie Lucy Chapman Black, 72, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at her residence on Sunnyside Drive. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 12:00 Noon at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with John Vaughan officiating. Born in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Oman Chapman and Tena Graham Chapman and a member of Graymere Church of Christ. She was married August 28, 1957 to James Herbert "Jimmy" Black. He preceded her in death January 28, 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Shelia (Stanley) Maurer of Lynnville; granddaughters, Virginia Blocker (Josh) Jones and Miranda Blocker Thompson of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Jones, Tyler Jones, Russell Thompson, and Riley Thompson, all of Columbia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
