MABEL HAMMOX Miss Mabel Hammox, 84, resident of Wayne County Nursing Home, died Monday, September 16, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Hardison Cemetery on Rock Springs Road with Elmer Lusk officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Wesley Hammox and Ethel Agent Hammox. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include one aunt, Virginia Agent of Columbia; one niece, Donna Blasingame of Mt. Juliet; and one nephew, Larry Venable of Columbia.
