View Video Tribute Allie Marcella Belew Brunson,88, long-time resident of Columbia, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rick Points officiating. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Benjamin Lee Belew and Mary Arlena Jennings Belew. She was a long-time member of Highland Park Baptist Church, Herbert Griffin American Legion Auxiliary, and was a former Maury Regional Medical Center Auxiliary volunteer. In 1941 she married Harold "Peck" Brunson who died July 14, 1969. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Brunson; son, Wayne Brunson; grandson Harold (Katrina) Brunson; great-granddaughters, Jeannie Lynn Brunson and Ally Kathryn Brunson; and great-great-granddaughter, Kaileigh Baker; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Jean Brunson; sister, Velma Jones; and brothers, Howard Belew and Elmer Belew. Serving as active pallbearers are Charlie Kuhn, Truman Borntrager, Harold Brunson, Marcus Baker, Jerry Brunson, and Jack Brunson. Honorary pallbearers include Ed Anderson, Ed Chumley, Rayborn Grooms, and member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Highland Park Baptist Church.
