Margaret White Brown

Margaret White Brown, 88, of Sheffield, Alabama, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Mitchell Hollingsworth in Tuscumbia, Alabama. A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 3:30 P.M. at Haynes Cemetery in Maury County. The family will visit with friends Monday from 11 am until 1 pm at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia, Alabama. An online guest book is available at morrisonfuneralhomes.com. Born March 15, 1925 in Columbia, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Robert T. White and Hattie Mitchell White. She was married to Hugh Brown, former TVA personnel manager, who preceded her in death. Mr. & Mrs. Brown were residents of Highland Avenue in Columbia before moving to Alabama over forty years ago. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Sheffield, Alabama. Survivors include her son, Tommy Brown of Huntsville, Alabama; her grandsons, Brett Brown and Jeff McCulley; and her brother, Jack (Daisy) White of Columbia. The family would like to thank the staff of Mitchell Hollingsworth, Wellington Place Assisted Living, and the nurses and aides of Southern Care Hospice.
