Margaret Lovett Green, 86, retired from Genesco in Centerville and long-time resident of the Spring Hill Community, died Sunday at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Jones Cemetery with Andrew Brown officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Ira Lovett and Iva Derryberry Lovett. Mrs. Green was a member of Sharp's Corner Church of Christ for many years and loved to embroider. She was first married to the C. W. Green. Following his death she married Dewey Green, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include a nephew, Dwain (Glenna) Bradley; great-niece, Dee Dee (Jason) Johnson; great-nephew, Keith (Rita) Bradley; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Leah Johnson, Loraine Bradley, Bradley Johnson, and Harley Bradley all of Spring Hill; several cousins including Bobbie Ann Lovett and Leonard Lovett. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virgie Lovett Bradley. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Darrell Rinehart, Dr. Moataz Toban, Joel Baker, P.A., and the Maury Regional Medical Center 2nd floor staff for their kindness and attention to Mrs. Green during her illness.
