View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Margaret Graves Holcomb, 85, retired from Dixie Manufacturing Company and resident of Houston Drive, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Lewis Albert Graves and Lorene West Graves. She was devoted to her family and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, James Terry (Mary Jane) Holcomb of Mt. Pleasant, Brenda (Rickey) Foster, Linda Sparks, Donald Ray (Eloise) Holcomb, and Jerry Wayne Holcomb, all of Columbia; brother, Dean Graves of Harrisburg, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Holcomb on March 22, 2001; son-in-law, David Sparks; brothers, L. A. Graves and Jerry Graves; and grandchild, Meagan Sparks. Serving as pallbearers are James Holcomb, Jeremy Holcomb, Derrick Foster, Chris Holcomb, Troy Holcomb, Daniel Holcomb, and Sean Holcomb.
