Margrett (Evelyn) Hickman Morrow

Margrett Evelyn Hickman Morrow, 94, resident of Culleoka TN, died Thursday September 14th at Life Care in Columbia. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Lynnwood Cemetery will Russell Smith officiating. Born November 22, 1928 to the late Smiser M. Hickman and the late Arlie Mae Thurman Hickman. She grew up in the Stiversville Community of Maury County and graduated from Culleoka High School and George Peabody College where she received her Master's degree. Afterwards she taught 7th grade English for 30 years in the Maury County school system. She was married to the late Raymond Morrow who passed away in 2003. She loved gardening, specifically her tomatoes, and flowers. Survivors include her step children: Ray (Dottie) Morrow, Boone (Kathy) Morrow, Mary (Harry) Law, Carol Ann (Kenneth) Haynes and their families, her niece Eyvonne (Mike) Morris; nephew, Danny Hickman, cousins; Fred (Frankie) Davis, Cornelia (Bill) Virden, and Ginny Lou Virden. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings Alatha Hickman McCollum, James Hickman, Whitthorne Hickman, and nephews Wilburn and Tim Hickman. The family would like to thank the nurses, techs, and staff at The Gardens at Life Care, with a special thank you to nurse Mary, tech Remy and Carey Barr along with Hospice Compass Pallbearers will be Scott Barnhill, Danny Ray Goldman, Scott Goldman, Tyler Goldman, Mike Isabell, and Jason Hardison. The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Jude.
