View Funeral WebcastMrs. Margie Gilliam Wright Regen Chumbley, 92, resident of Sowell Mill Pike in the Berlin Community, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Calvin Hardison officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late William Leslie Gilliam and Nannie Sue Sharp Gilliam. She was first married to John Wright then married Jesse Regen who preceded her in death in October 1956 and later married Earl Chumbley who preceded her in death in February 1994. She was a former employee of Dixie Manufacturing Company and retired from E. I. DuPont Corporation. Mrs. Chumbley was a member of Antioch Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Adkisson of Columbia, Mrs. Joy (Wayne) Greggs of Lewisburg; son, Randall (Shirley) Wright of Columbia; six grandchildren, Rickey Greggs, Steve (Pavlova) Greggs, Michael (Liz) Greggs, Jesse (Amanda) Howell, Sonya (Rodney) Boles and Roxanne Wright; step-daughter, Mrs. Diane (Buddy) Wiles of Lewisburg; step-daughter-in-law, Joyce Chumbley; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Zona Williamson, sister, Pallen Huckaby and stepson, Douglas Chumbley. Pallbearers will be Rickey Greggs, Steve Greggs, Michael Greggs, Jesse Howell, Rodney Boles and Billy Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be Roxanne Wright, Sonya Boles, Dupont Retirees, and the staff at NHC Columbia.
