View Funeral Webcast Martha Elizabeth Johnson Coop Park, 84, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her residence on Hampshire Pike. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. William L. Rolman, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Churchyard. The Maury County resident was the daughter of the late Andrew L. "Spot" Johnson and Mary Jane Johnson Johnson and grew up in the Zion Community. She was first married to Harvey Nelson Coop, Sr. and spent a number of years traveling the world as a military wife. Upon his retirement, they returned to Columbia to make their home until his death in 1982. She was a former member of Zion Presbyterian Church. In more recent years, Mrs. Park served as an Elder and was active in the affairs of Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, Billy Roy Park, whom she married October 29, 1989; a daughter, Andrea Coop Lovell of Columbia; brothers, Andrew L. "Larry" (Virgie) Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada and Douglas A. (Gloria) Johnson of Union Grove, Alabama; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Harvey Nelson Coop, Jr.; brother, Paul E. Johnson, and step-mother, Mildred Goad Johnson. Active pallbearers are Elliott Hampton, Buddy Lovell, Albert Lovell, Charles Martin, Charles Martindale, and Jack Wilsford. Honorary pallbearers include Elders and Deacons of Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Dr. Amit Choksi, and Dr. Shawn Gentry.
