Mary Lou Dye

Mary Lou Webb Dye, 92, resident of Culleoka, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at her residence.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 12:30 P.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Brother Christian Pruett officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.

Mary was born June 9, 1934, in Nashville and was the daughter of the late David Webb and the late Claudia Marie Jacobs Webb (Roy Collins). On December 29, 1951, she married the love of her life, Bobby Eugene Dye. They devoted 74 years to one another until his death on March 15, 2026.

Mary worked for and retired from General Electric. She enjoyed exercising, sports, going to yard sales, cooking, and baking. She was a longtime member of Loyal Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, and loved her church family dearly. Above all, Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane (Tim) Love of Columbia; son, Mark Dye of Culleoka; grandchildren, Chris Dye, Jonathan (Tara) Dye, Natalie Isbell, and Breana Dye; brother, Tony (Patricia) Collins; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, Bobby Dye, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Eugene Dye; brother, Richard Collins; sister, Jimmie Riley; and sisters-in-law, Sue Martin, Janice Marie Duke, and Linda Boyd.

Pallbearers will be Chris Dye, Jonathan Dye, Tim Love, and Jeff Pogue.
