Mary Evelyn Pruitt Abshier

Mary Evelyn Pruitt Abshier, 75, resident of Columbia, TN died Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at her residence.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, Tennessee.  Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.

She was a native of Knoxville, TN, born on December 11, 1948 to the late James Pruitt, Sr. and the late Mary Etta High Pruitt.  She was a retired account clerk for Metro Nashville Public Schools.

Survivors include her husband Lloyd Abshier; three daughters, Sonja Plowman (Randy), Jackie Reynolds (Donny) and Stefanie Williams; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
