Services are Friday, February 5th at 1:00 P.M. with Russ Adcox officiating. Entombment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. She was born on January 7, 1931 in Bedford County, Tennessee to the late William Allen Hickman and the late Emma Williamson Hickman. Mrs. Hickman's untimely death, when Frances was a toddler, led to her being raised by her Aunt, Mrs. Josephine Hickman Goats. In addition to being a loving mother and provider for her eight children, she enjoyed gardening; solving word games/puzzles; listening to and singing gospel music. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She also enjoyed reading cook books and trying new recipes; and, babysitting her grandchildren. She was very computer savvy and thoroughly enjoyed her computer time and watching the Tennessee Titans. She, especially, loved her dogs Dollie, Penny & Abby. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, Aunt Josie, her brother Avery Hickman, and her sister Gladys Pinkleton. She is survived by her children, Wanda (Jimmy) Dean of Mt. Pleasant, Deborah (Larry Dean) Williams of Readyville, Larry Jett of Columbia, Eddie (Jo) Jett of Lakeland, Florida, Diane Kinslow of Clarksville, Beverly (Terry) Hildenbrandt of Ethridge, Darryl Jett of Columbia, Teresa Jett of Spring Hill, twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and her half-sister, Marie Wren of Alabama. Brian Williams, Chad Williams, Thomas Dean, Brandon Finley, Kerigan Tiffner and Preston Kinslow will serve as pallbearers.
