View Video TributeMrs. Zora Maude Wiley Goodwin, 89, resident of Double Branch Road, died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Mike Williams officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Grover Wiley and Birtha Roberts Wiley. On November 11, 1944 she married Milton Kenneth Goodwin who preceded her in death on June 16, 2001. Mrs. Goodwin had been employed as a seamstress at Weather Tamer. Upon her retirement she and her husband spent many years working on their farm together. Survivors include her daughter, Judy (Ronald) Dark of Columbia; grandchildren, William Kenneth (Regina) Dark of Spring Hill, Jason Brian (Delia) Dark, Tanya Michelle (John) Tomlinson both of Columbia; six great-grandchildren, Laney Dark, Nathan Dark, Paige Miller, Brady Miller, Halle Tomlinson, Rylan Tomlinson; and a brother, Odell Wiley of Nashville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Wiley and two sisters, Mae Slaughter and Eula Bundrent. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
