Mickey Dean Wright

Mickey Dean Wright, 60, resident of Parkway Avenue, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Scott McCord officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Mack Wright and the late Ruby Mildred Whitby Wright. Survivors include his wife of forty years, Debbie Demastus Wright of Columbia; daughter, Mandy Wright McDonald of Columbia; step-daughter, Sharon (Jimmy) Love of Columbia; grandchildren, Will McDonald and Annie McDonald; step grandchildren, Hayden Love and Hunter Love; sisters, Linda Wright, Penny (Jeff) Steward, and Jackie Hay, all of Columbia; brother, Donald Wright of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Mackie Wright and Tony Wright. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Love, Will McDonald, Hayden Love, Hunter Love, Ron Rich, and Eddie Morton. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Charles A. Ball, Maury Regional Emergency Room doctors and staff, Maury County Ambulance Service, and Columbia Fire Dept.
