Mildred Satterfield "Tootsie" Mullins, 88, resident of Love Branch Road in the Hampshire Community, peacefully passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with Dwayne Wright officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Jack Edward Satterfield and Betty Duncan Satterfield. She worked with the Meals on Wheels Program in the Hampshire Community for several years and was a member of Hampshire United Methodist Church. Her husband, John D. Mullins, died in 1990. Survivors include a daughter, Betty June (W. M.) Morrow of Hampshire; a son, Tommy Lee (Dianna) Mullins of Bon Aqua; a sister, Jackie Tuner of Florida; four grandchildren, Penny Morrow (Dwayne) Wright, Ginger Lee Morrow, Tiffany Lee Mullins (Joe) Howard, and Thomas James Mullins; four great-grandchildren, Wil Hunter Morrow, Sarah Grace Cole, Emma Lee Cole, and Cooper Ellis Morrow Wright; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Joe Howard, Dwayne Wright, Thomas James Mullins, Steve Cole, Wil Hunter Morrow, and Mickey Nolan. The family expresses appreciation to the staff of NHC Hillview for their kindness and care, and concern during her illness.
