View Video TributeMr. Milton Lee Hinson, 73, resident of Park Street in Franklin, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Smithson officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Mr. Hinson was born in Maury County, the son of the late William Sherman Neal Hinson and Lucille Beard Hinson. Survivors include his sister, Esther (Rayburn) Grooms of Columbia; nephews, Jerry (Susan) Shouse of Clarksville, Dwight (Paulette) Shouse of Cincinnati, Ohio, Josh (Cyndi) Lunn of Columbia; nieces, Margaret (Ronnie) Huckaby, Marie (Allen) Brown both of Columbia, Rose Mary Smith of Petersburg; and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Neal Hinson and Larry Junior Hinson and two sisters, Annie Lou Brown and Agnes Shouse. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Huckaby, Jerry Shouse, Dwight Shouse, Josh Lunn, Tom Davidson, Bill Hood, Steve Baker and Roger Baker. The family wishes to offer special thanks to Dr. Charles A. Ball and the staff at NHC Columbia.
